Strange Days Festival of Forteana September 5th - 7th
Absolutely delighted to be on the same billing as Brian Blessed and the mighty Henge! Strange Days indeed!
Join the curious and extraordinary for a 3 day intimate festival like no other. From sasquatch searches and paranormal activity, there is something to ignite the most conservative of palates.
Join Amanda for a Sunday afternoon (3pm) exploration of the Quantum Medicine of Homeopathy and the launch of our new charity "Homeopathy Heroes".
Homeopathy Heroes endeavors to provide choice of care for low income families by providing funding for 6 months of homeopathic treatment for those struggling with ASD, ADHD, PDA, PANDAs or similar conditions.
Homeopathy Heroes is inspired by the work of the historic figure, Margaret Tyler M.D (1857-1943), the first female British homeopath who graduated in medicine at the age of 44.
Serving as a physician at the London Homeopathic Hospital for 40 years, Margaret specialised in the care of children with development issues, right up until her death at the age of 84.
“At the end of life we shall not be asked how much pleasure we have had in it, but how much service we gave in it; not how full of success, but how full of sacrifice; not happy we were, but how helpful we were.” M. Tyler.
How can you help?
Our aim is to raise an initial £5000 to enable Homeopathy Heroes to grant funding for 5 x family cases, providing 6 months of supportive care to each family, at a low cost of just £25 per month (cost to participating family).
How do I support this?
Purchase one of two memorabilia art prints, created to celebrate all that is Forteana and the launch of Homeopathy Heroes. Your purchase will provide vital funds to activate this all important and most needed initiative. Created by founder Amanda Townend and life partner Russell, the commemorative 'Strange Days' ink art prints are hand drawn, combining classic comic art, Forteana iconography and a visual exploration through the qualities of Sulphur, the essential homeopathically prepared medicine of man.
Printed using Giclee museum-quality, archival inks and papers.
Choose from the Classic Commemorative 'Poster Print' or the Collectors 'Comic Art' Edition.
